"Desiree communicated succinctly and patiently to visitors. She kept up on all changes and what was happening. She quickly came into the room and assessed the patient (Gerald) and titrated his drugs. I always felt comfortable she was looking in on him frequently when needed. She always looked unhurried when myself or relatives asked questions. She explained things in a way my relatives could easily understand.
He was on at least four IV drips and multiple piggybacks. They were all tagged appropriately and organized. I've been in nursing 40 years, worked in ICU care 20 plus years before working at the college teaching in the RN program.
Desiree exemplifies the excellent nurse I would like to see taking care of all our relatives, in this case my brother. Kudos to Desiree!!"
