The Antelope Valley Medical Center Foundation raises funds to help the hospital meet the needs of our growing population with quality and innovative healthcare. As the area’s only district hospital, Antelope Valley Medical Center provides care to anyone who needs services regardless of their ability to pay. That is why your generosity helps make a difference!

Mission Statement

The Foundation’s mission is to raise funds for the hospital’s current needs and long-range growth, such as facility upgrades, innovative equipment and building a healthy community.

Ways to Give

The Foundation offers a wide array of giving opportunities, allowing you to choose the type of donation that best honors your intentions. Every tax-deductible gift to the foundation makes a difference in the lives of the people we serve----100% of gifts to the foundation directly benefit the hospital programs and services.

Cash: This is the most common method of giving and is fully deductible; up to 50 percent of your adjusted gross income.

Real Estate: Donate your non-mortgaged property, claim a tax deduction based on fair market value, and avoid capital gains tax.

Life Insurance: Name the AVMC Foundation as a beneficiary of a policy.

Stock and Mutual Funds: Transfer stocks or mutual funds to the AVMC Foundation to avoid capital gains tax; while receiving a tax deduction for the full fair market value.

Establish an Endowment: Provide long-term support for a special program of your choice.

Life Income: Receive an income as a result of your charitable gift to AVMC Foundation.

IRA Gifts: Transfer a gift from your IRA.

Wills or Living Trusts: If you can’t give right now but want to help ensure our future, include AVMC Foundation in your will.
