Dawnmarie Risley, D.O., will present "Understanding and Coping with Bipolar Disorder" on January 16 at 7 p.m. at the Antelope Valley Medical Center Community Resource Center, 44151 15th Street West in Lancaster. The free hour-long lecture will define bipolar disorder and offer insight into:
- Causes and risk factors
- Symptoms
- Treatment options
- Living with bipolar disorder
Dr. Risley is a board-certified psychiatrist who is a member of the AV Hospital medical staff. She received a medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey and completed a residency at Loma Linda University.
