Lovebirds and broken-hearted singles alike will want to attend “What’s Love Got to Do with It?” at 7 p.m. Feb. 19 at the Community Resource Center, 44151 15th Street West in Lancaster. Presented by Roger Girion, PhD, executive director of mental health services at Antelope Valley Medical Center, this seminar will help strengthen relationships or help those recovering from a break-up.

The free hour-long seminar will explore:

  • The chemistry of romance and falling in love.
  • Coping mechanisms for love’s emotional highs and lows.
  • Methods to increase our capacity to love.
  • Tips for laying the foundation for lasting relationships.

“Whether Cupid’s arrow hits its mark or completely misses, love is a complex emotion that can ripple through a person’s life,” said Dr. Girion. “This seminar will help those who are madly in love as well as those mad at love after a bad relationship.”
