Foundation’s Annual Gala Benefits Emergency Department

Over the past six years, the AVMC Foundation has raised more than $3.5 million to support various departments of the hospital, including pediatrics, critical care, home health, maternity care and more. "Our community depends on AVMC to bring the latest medical services and technology to the Antelope Valley," noted Johnny Zamrzla, AVMC Foundation chairman. "This year, all proceeds from the gala will go toward supporting the AVMC emergency department, the second busiest ER in Southern California."

Anyone can participate in the foundation’s opportunity raffle. Prizes include a 2016 Harley-Davidson Street Bob motorcycle or cash winnings of $1,000 and $2,000. With only 500 raffle tickets available, the odds are good for anyone who participates. Tickets are available until Sept. 16.

"This event would not be possible without the tireless energy of the AVMC Foundation Board of Directors and the scores of volunteers who make this event a great success every year," said CEO John Rossfeld. "We are grateful for their generous and ongoing support of the hospital."
