  • Posted On:

Jeremy Redin has been named chief financial officer of Antelope Valley Medical Center (AVMC), effective immediately. He replaces Paul Brydon who retired earlier this year.

Redin comes to AVMC from Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys where he most recently served as assistant chief financial officer. Immediately prior he served as CFO for Alta Hospitals System, which operates six hospitals in California and Texas. Redin’s nearly two decades of healthcare financial experience also includes serving as controller for California Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles, Glendale Memorial Hospital & Health Center and Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.

"Jeremy is a skilled financial professional whose years of hospital experience will be instrumental in the continued growth and development of Antelope Valley Medical Center," said John Rossfeld, AVMC’s chief financial officer. "Over the past six months AVMC has significantly improved its financial position through the debt refinance and numerous operational enhancements. Jeremy will provide effective leadership in these areas to help assure that we can continue to serve the community, now and into the future."

Redin holds a Master in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from California State University, Stanislaus.

In accordance with the management agreement between Antelope Valley Healthcare District and the hospital’s management from Alecto Healthcare, Redin is formally an Alecto employee as is Rossfeld and the hospital’s recently hired chief operating officer, Ron Bingham.
