Foundation Gala Celebrates Hospital’s 70th Anniversary

Proceeds from the event will go towards the construction of the new hospital.
(LANCASTER, Calif., September 15, 2025) — Antelope Valley Medical Center (AVMC) is proud to announce its 70th Anniversary Presidential Gala, a milestone celebration honoring seven decades of compassionate care, medical innovation, and community partnership. The event will take place on Saturday October 11, 2025 at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. Themed “Diamonds are Forever – Celebrating 70 Years of Brillance”, this event will bring together healthcare professionals, community leaders, and supporters for an unforgettable evening of reflection and celebration.
Founded in 1955, AVMC has grown from a small community hospital into a leading healthcare institution, serving thousands of patients each year. The 70th Anniversary Gala will highlight the hospital’s rich history and recognize outstanding contributions from staff and partners.
“This gala is more than a celebration—it’s a heartfelt thank you to the people who have made our journey possible,” said Edward Mirzabegian, Chief Executive Officer, Antelope Valley Medical Center. “We look forward to honoring our past and embracing the future with the same spirit of care and innovation that has defined us for 70 years. In addition to the gala, the foundation is selling raffle tickets. Raffle tickets are available for a chance to win the following prizes: 1st Prize: a 2025 Harley-Davidson Nightster Special Motorcycle or $12,000 cash; 2nd Prize: $2,000 in cash; and 3rd Prize: $1,000 in cash. Raffle tickets are $100 each and can be purchased in advance. Winners do not need to be present to claim their prizes, and only 500 tickets will be sold.
