I Noticed He was Having the Classic Signs of Stroke

My husband, Henry, had a regular doctor’s appointment back in November and it was during that time that I noticed he was having the classic signs of stroke. I called 911 and he was brought to the ER at AVMC, where Dr. Salahuddin diagnosed him with a stroke. He told my son that my husband would need surgery. The surgery was successful, and I am thankful and grateful to God. Dr. Salahuddin’s bedside manner was not only for my husband, but for me as well, as he helped calm me down and reassured me that my husband would be okay. My husband is being assisted now by home health and is still recovering; he’ll have speech therapy for 4.5 months, but now he is doing much better.
