DAISY Award Winners - Oct. 2025

"I am writing to nominate Nurse Courtney for the DAISY Award in recognition of her extraordinary compassion, skill, and dedication during my recent two-month stay.

From the very first day she cared for me, Courtney demonstrated not only outstanding clinical competence but also a rare and genuine kindness that made an immeasurable difference in my healing journey. My hospital stay was long and often overwhelming, but Courtney consistently went above and beyond to provide comfort, reassurance, and encouragement. She treated me with dignity and compassion, never letting me feel like just another patient.

What makes Courtney so special is the way she combines professionalism with true empathy. On my hardest days, she took the time to listen, to encourage me, and to remind me that I wasn’t alone. She approached every situation with patience and understanding, and her caring presence made me feel safe, valued, and respected.

Her compassion turned a very difficult experience into one filled with hope and even moments of joy. I can say without hesitation that she made a lasting impact on me and my recovery. Courtney embodies the spirit of nursing excellence that the DAISY Award is meant to honor.

It is my sincere hope that Courtney will be recognized for the outstanding nurse and extraordinary human being that she is. She has touched my life in a way I will never forget, and I believe she deserves this honor more than words can express."
