Palliative Care Team Speaks at UCLA

The AVMC Palliative Care team was invited to speak to nursing college students at the UCLA School of Nursing. The lecture described Palliative Care and the distinct service it provides patients and their families. They were called to share a diverse perspective of Palliative Care in an acute care setting within the Antelope Valley. Our team enjoys teaching, in order to bring awareness to Palliative Care to students, but also as an opportunity to let the community know that this service is available to them.
