AVMC and Kaiser Permanente Reach Three-Year Agreement

  • Posted On:

Both Organizations Reaffirm Commitment to Service, Clinical Excellence and Nonprofit Mission

Antelope Valley Medical Center (AVMC) and Kaiser Permanente have reached a three-year agreement for Kaiser Permanente members to continue to receive care from Kaiser Permanente physicians at AVMC. AVMC is the only full-service acute care hospital in the greater Antelope Valley. The agreement further enables local residents to remain in the Antelope Valley to receive the majority of their healthcare.

"As a result of this agreement, our two organizations will be working even closer together to improve the patient experience and to assure that a visit to our hospital is the best, most reassuring and most comfortable that it can be," said John Rossfeld, AVMC’s chief executive officer. "Kaiser Permanente is a first-class organization in every way, and we are thrilled to continue this important healthcare relationship for our community."

The agreement reaffirms both Kaiser Permanente’s commitment to AVMC as its "plan hospital" in the area as well as the hospital’s commitment to continue to provide the best possible clinical and service quality to Kaiser Permanente members.

"Kaiser Permanente and Antelope Valley Medical Center will continue to work toward optimizing the quality of hospital services in the Antelope Valley," said Kaiser Permanente Antelope Valley Senior Vice President and Area Manager Payman Roshan.

"Kaiser Permanente is deeply committed to providing high-quality, affordable healthcare to the people of the Antelope Valley," said Kaiser Permanente Antelope Valley Chief Administrative Officer Linda J. Lawson, RN, MSN. "We look forward to continuing our long and positive relationship with Antelope Valley Medical Center for our members who require medical care."
